Sealy has been awarded a contract to supply its custom-made, pocket-sprung Centurion mattresses to BP Shipping’s fleet – between 42 and 46 beds on each tanker.

Graham Carberry, Contract Director of Sealy UK, said: “This is a great opportunity for Sealy to work with and partner with one of the UK’s leading companies, particularly in its centenary year, and we are all very excited to be taking our Sealy beds into another new sector of operations.

“We already supply beds and mattresses to a large number of British cruise ships, so we know all about the benefits of sleeping on a wonderfully comfortable bed!

The fleet of BP ships is manned by around 1250 seafarers.
